As I’ve mentioned, the kids take enrichment classes through P.A.C.E. Miami on Fridays. Because it is a Christian group, Halloween is not celebrated. However, all (ok, most) little kids love to play dress up. So P.A.C.E. offers a “Spirit Day” in the springtime, in which the kids can wear costumes that are not scary or threatening. Spence and Saphira were both super excited to wear their costumes, but when Spence got to his first class he discovered that he was the only one dressed up. He immediately removed the costume. Luckily, at lunchtime he found several friends in costume and decided to become Iron Man again, just in time for the group picture! Saphira was thrilled to discover an Anna to complement her Elsa costume. It’s the little things, right?
